Terms & Conditions
A Legal Disclaimer
The safety boat and its crew are provided to offer reasonable assistance, monitoring and response within the designated operational area. The safety boat is not a rescue service and does not replace the duty of care owed by event organisers, employers, participants or other responsible parties.
All persons carried or assisted do so at their own risk. The crew will always act in good faith and make decisions based on crew safety, vessel safety and prevailing environmental conditions. Assistance may be delayed or withheld if the skipper judges that an action would endanger life, property or the vessel.
Lifejackets or approved personal flotation devices must be worn when directed by the skipper. All persons must follow crew instructions at all times. Failure to comply may result in refusal of service or removal from the operational area.
The company accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or death arising from activities taking place outside the vessel or activities not directly under the control of the skipper or crew. This includes any delays, weather related cancellations or equipment failures that are outside the reasonable control of the company.
By boarding the vessel or operating under its supervision, the client or participant acknowledges and accepts this disclaimer and agrees to follow all safety guidance, navigation limits and operational instructions as issued.
